Blowing Glass and Life Coaching

Our bi-monthly meeting began with sharing of recent Elderhostel programs by members. Judy and Ed related their week at the Corning Glass Museum/Factory in New York and showed some of the pieces they made that week with the tutoring and assistance of the Corning staff.

Wow! These amazing creations made us all want to try our hand at the process.

Then professional life coach Denise spoke generally about her occupation's goals and took us through several exercises demonstrating techniques to determine one's own life goals and how to achieve them...

...followed by Pete who described more of the process from his perspective as a psychologist/counselor.

Finally, Don showed an Elderhostel Power Point presentation still in the "beta" stage of development and asked us to critique it so the Elderhostel staff back in Boston could get reactions and suggestions for improvements (which we had a bunch of!)

Followed, of course, by our lunch ...
